What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme, or NDIS, helps people under 65 who have a permanent and significant disability, to lead an ordinary everyday life. This scheme gives people with a disability more control over the funding they receive and where they choose to spend it.
How to access the NDIS
If you’re unsure about your NDIS eligibility, read through the NDIS Eligibility Checklist on the NDIS website. If you think you are eligible and would like to apply for the NDIS, information on how to apply can be found here.
If you would like additional support for your application, we can:
- Help you understand the NDIS and how it works
- Support you through the application process
- Assist you with identifying goals
- Provide supporting evidence (as appropriate) through a neurological physiotherapy assessment and report
- Connect you with other trusted health professionals
How does the NDIS work?
Once you’re accepted as an NDIS participant, you decide where you prefer to go to receive the support you need.

Mobile physio
We’re a mobile physiotherapy service that comes to you so you can have treatment in the comfort of your own home. We travel to more than 30 suburbs on the Sunshine Coast, from Gympie in the north to Moreton Bay Region in the south. We venture into the hinterland as well.
