Meet the team at Sunshine Coast Neuro Rehab
We’re a dedicated team of physiotherapists on the beautiful Sunshine Coast who work with people living with neurological conditions. We also service clients in the Moreton Bay Region to the south, and Gympie to the north. We provide a mobile physio service that brings professional physiotherapy into your home.
We have experience helping people with many different neurological conditions, such as brain injury, Functional Neurological Disorder, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke and other neurological disorders. Bek – our director
With more than 25 years’ physio experience, our director Bek (Rebekah) McClellan is an APA Research Physiotherapist. With extensive experience in helping people with neurological conditions across a variety of private and public settings, Bek has gained in-depth understanding of her clients’ entire care journey.
Passionate about making a difference and empowering people to achieve greater independence and enjoy better quality of life, Bek brings an impressive breadth and depth of clinical experience to her work. Bek works closely with her team to ensure high-quality care for our clients.
Bek has a Master’s degree in physiotherapy and published a research paper looking at the benefits of a physiotherapy program for people affected by stroke. She was also involved in setting up an award-winning oncology rehab program in Melbourne.
KIRA – Physiotherapist
Kira grew up on the Coast, and moved to Melbourne to pursue performance and dance. She worked with people with disabilities engaging them in dance and performance. This ignited her passion to work with people with disabilities, and she pursued physiotherapy.
Kira graduated from La Trobe University, and has recently returned home to the Coast. She has a particular interest in working with people who have had a stroke, as well as an interest in aquatic physiotherapy.
NEVE – Physiotherapist
Neve trained at the University of Queensland and graduated with First Class Honours. As part of her study Neve did a research project on Myasthenia Gravis. She has a special interest in working with people with Parkinson’s.
Neve enjoys going to the beach, camping, and losing at chess. She prefers to win, however needs a little more practice.
Janice – Therapy Assistant
Janice has had extensive experience as an Allied Health Assistant in the hospital and community setting in the UK and in Australia.
Janice has a great sense of humour and is well liked by her clients.
Samantha – Therapy AssistanT
Samantha is currently studying Exercise Physiology. She has a passion for rehabilitation and Health and Fitness. She loves helping people improve functionality and supporting them to engage in activities they enjoy.
When she is not working at SCNR or studying, she likes Ultimate Frisbee, hiking and walking her dog at the beach.
Indi – Administration Assistant
Indi has excellent attention to detail, working to support our therapists with administrative tasks. She has been working with Sunshine Coast Neuro Rehab since its inception.
When she is not working, Indi enjoys singing, drama and math.
Amanda- PRActice Manager/Senior Admin
Amanda is our Practice Manager/Senior Admin. As an enrolled nurse, she cares about our clients and is dedicated to their well being. She also bring extensive experience in administration and practice management roles. She is great at keeping us all organised, but because she is lovely we feel supported rather than bossed about. Amanda is often the first point of contact when you reach out to SCNR.
Amanda loves living near the beach, enjoying time with her family and travelling (however COVID has limited this recently).

Every company need a Mascot, and SCNR is no exception. Parker was one of the first staff at SCNR, and likes to keep an eye on everyone.
Parker has a happy disposition and loves cuddles.
